PTM – Proper Tech Matey

Editor's Notes Proper tech matey I created this podcast not only to listen to the great tracks which I like, bought and play out but also to showcase minimal tech having emotion in my opinion. I noticed tech was getting very minimal, I went to a club for a particular promotion then stuck around for the next promotion to see what all the fuss was about. I gave it 30 mins to convince me and I was astonished, I just couldn’t believe the beats was exactly the same throughout the whole 30 mins with big build ups only to arrive into absolutely nothing of a bland beat and everyone would cheer! lol I just didn’t get it, I asked a chap what’s going on with this music...he replied with words "yeah it’s the ******" (something to do with horses), there was no rhythm, no emotion, no melody, no journey, just the same monotonous drum pattern. Now don’t get me wrong I love beats, I've been playing beats/instrumentals/dubs all my life but the youngster’s of today are missing out on so much musical experience! (In my humbliest humble opinon)
